Tracy earned her J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law in 1993, and is licensed to practice law in Texas and before the U.S. District Courts for both the Northern and Eastern Districts.

Tracy’s 30+ year career has given her a uniquely balanced perspective. She has served as lead counsel in over 100 jury trials across Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton, Grayson, Johnson and other counties. Over the course of her career, Tracy has represented both individual plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury cases, as well as insurers in first-party contractual matters. She has participated in well over 1,000 mediations as counsel, successfully negotiating over 90% of those cases to settlement — a track record that reflects both her command of the law and her instinct for resolution.

Based on her experience and reputation in the legal community, Tracy became a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an invitation-only organization, in 2015.

Tracy has also served her community beyond the courtroom. She co-coached the Mock Trial Team at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, leading them to 6th place in the entire State of Texas. Tracy also formerly served on the Board of Directors for Dallas Summer Musicals, now known as Broadway Dallas.
